Synopsis

In Southern New Hampshire there is a typical small NE town by the name of Colesville, at least typical until a family from Virginia relocates there to start a new life. Recently married, Tom (Bernard Galvin) and Jean Phillips (Cheri Birch) have moved to Colesville and applied for positions in the school system. Tom is hired as an elementary school teacher and Jean becomes the new student counselor at the high school. After months of getting settled into their new jobs and new home, Jean sends for her teenage son, Wayne Garrison (Josh Gelbwaks). Since Jean has never been away from her son for more than a few days she is anxiously looking forward to having her family back together. Unfortunately, the day before Wayne’s scheduled arrival, Jean dies in a horrible accident. Arriving just in time for his mother’s funeral Wayne, understandably in a state of shock, is thrust into an uncomfortable situation. He is now living with a step father he barely knows, is expected to attend a new school where his mother worked, and is introduced to a number of Colesville citizens, each with their own personal agenda. For instance, Chief Greg (Brandon Stumpf), the new Chief of Police, confronts him and his step father at the funeral and questions Jeans death. Louise Thompson (Kerry Schneider), the superintendent of schools, introduces Wayne to Pat Reinhart (Sarah LeBlanc), whose sister, Beth (Brenna Galvin), has recently disappeared and was last seen in Jeans car on the day of Jeans death. The director takes us from one situation to another, each one having something to do with the other, or do they? D.I.D. will take you on a journey that will surprise and terrify you.

Chief of Police Greg Buxton: Brandon S. Stumpf | bio
Brandon is a NH native raised in Nashua. He is a middle school teacher turned actor and model. Brandon has worked on several major films including "The Game Plan", "Dan in Real Life", "27 Dresses", and "Bride Wars". Brandon is also in several independent features throughout New England and has starred alongside actors such as Tony Moran (Halloween 1&2) and PJ Soles (Halloween, Carrie). Brandon continues to pursue his acting career, and has just landed the lead role in a TV adaptation of local author Jon F. Merz' vampire novels entitled "The Fixer". Brandon lives in NH with his beautiful wife and daughter.
Tom Phillips: Bernard Galvin | bio
Bernard is originally from Boston, MA and currently resides in Worcester MA with his family. He has been acting since grade school and has always wanted to be in the movies. He has been in over 30 local theatre productions throughout New England and has been teaching at a local talent agency for Karen Shea Model Management. He was trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City for both film and theatre. Bernard enjoyed working with the cast and crew on this project and looks forward to working with them on future productions.
Wayne Garrison: Josh Gelbwaks | bio
Josh grew up in New Hampshire and has just received his Bachelor of Arts from Marymount Manhattan College, where he most recently directed “This Basement”, a new play by Beth Armstrong. D.I.D. is his first feature film.
Pat Reinhart: Sarah LeBlanc | bio
Sarah grew up in southern New Hampshire where she studied fashion and design. She has worked in theater and as a model but now has her sites set on acting for the camera. D.I.D. is her first film
Beth Reinhart: Brenna Galvin | bio
Brenna Galvin was born and raised in Amherst, New Hampshire. She has always been actively interested in film and theater and now attends Wesleyan University for film studies and psychology. This is her first time working on and acting in a professional film and is very excited about it.
Jean Phillips: Cheri Birch | bio
Cheri has been active in New Hampshire Community Theatre for the last 12 years. She performs in dramatic and musical theatre with several area groups, but calls the Actorsingers of Nashua her home base. Favorite roles include Lenny in Crimes of the Heart, Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown The Musical, Sister Robert Anne in Nunsense, Nancy in Oliver, Peggy/Sonia in Godspell, and Tzeitle in Fiddler on the Roof. Cheri is currently performing in the role of Dr. Malaise in The Altos, a musical dinner theatre produced by Mayhem and Murder Productions several times per year. Other credits include a role as an extra in Developing Sheldon (Granite State Films), and as a housewife in a TV documentary about the invention of the microwave oven (Milky Way Productions).

Brandt is an independent filmmaker living in Boston, Massachusetts. He started out with a passion for all things horror from an early stage. From growing up with midnight matinees, nightmares of monsters in the closet, and creatures under the bed, there was only one path that he could follow and that was to create the best films possible, films that stay with the audience due to a compelling story and haunting imagery.

Brandt spent his summers studied at the selective Walnut Hill School for the performing, visual, and creative arts. He attended Plymouth State University and University of NH Manchester studying the Arts and Film, but it was after graduating from Boston University CDIA, that Brandt put his new set of skills to work in both major motion pictures and network television. Brandt has over 4 years of experience in directing, audio recording, lighting and staging and post production editing and sound techniques. His knowledge, skill and eye for detail have allowed him involvement in many different film formats, including movies, television, documentaries, short films and pod casts.

After several years of working in the industry and constantly developing and increasing his love and knowledge of film, Brandt decided to take his experience and focus all his efforts on creating the company, Grave Situations Films, LLC (GSF), that he believes will one day be a major staple in modern day horror and film.

New Hampshire's indie films offer a change of pace. After working in the industry and on some major films, including "Dan in Real Life," McGuire wanted to set his skills to work on films that demonstrated his passion for horror. Inspired by the "no boundaries freedom" of the 1970s slasher flicks, writer and director McGuire formed the independent production company in late 2006.
